Muskegon Engine Component Manufacturer Is Hiring

CWC Textron manufactures engine components for a variety of applications. Textron has over 6,000 employees on four continents, with a facility located in Muskegon, Michigan. Their Muskegon facility produces 12 million camshafts annually. Fun fact: nearly 30% of vehicles that are made in North America have camshafts that were produced in the Muskegon facility.  

To learn more about CWC Textron, we talked to Holly Rolewicz, HRBP, and Dennis Snook, an iron pourer and team leader.  

CWC Textron Iron PourerSnook has been with the company for 13.5 years and has worked in manufacturing since he was 18 years old. When asked about what he likes about his job he replied that his days go by quickly because he is busy and constantly on the go. He also likes the friendly environment. “I work with good people,” said Snook. 

Snook’s job entails pouring molten metal into molds to produce castings. Working in the melt department gets hot, but Snook is quick to point out that there are perks such as a heat bonus, and the company pays for uniforms and boots for the Melt Department. Plus, “the money is good,” said Snook.  Starting pay is around $20/hour.
