West Michigan Works! has announced the promotion of Allise Wilkerson to Manager of its service center in Ottawa County.
Wilkerson has been with Michigan Works! since 2010 and brings a wealth of program and managerial experience to her new position. She began her career working with job seekers in the welfare to work program and most recently served as assistant manager for the service center in Holland.

Wilkerson will manage a staff of seventeen and oversee the center’s daily operations. The service center offers a wide variety of services for job seekers and employers. “We recently rolled out some updated workshops, including Resume Makeover and Interviewing Techniques, which are great (and free!) resources for anyone in their job search,” said Wilkerson. “We also offer hiring events and resources for employers looking to meet their talent needs and fill open positions.”
