Food Assistance Employment & Training (FAE&T)

Do you receive food assistance benefits? Would you like to improve your employment skills and find a good job? FAE&T may be able to help!

The Food Assistance Employment and Training (FAE&T) Program offers a variety of individualized services to help participants reach their employment goals. If you are receiving Food Assistance Program (FAP) benefits, are between the ages of 18 and 59 years old, do not receive MDHHS cash benefits, and are ready to work – you may qualify for these services:

  • Job search planning
  • Interview strategies
  • Resume building
  • Education & training assistance
  • Literacy classes
  • Support services (such as clothing, tools and transportation assistance)
  • Community resources and more!
