HireReach Project Manager
Marlene Brostrom is a consultant for the HireReach initiative. She has 10+ years of experience in workforce and community development. Marlene has worked alongside hundreds of employers developing solutions to address their talent needs and administering state and federal training programs. Marlene has served in various roles at West Michigan Works! She helped to expand and lead the Manufacturing Industry Council, building a regional network of hundreds of manufacturers to address the short and long-term needs of the industry. Most recently Marlene served as the Apprenticeship Success Coordinator, working with the Department of Labor to develop and expand registered apprenticeship programs in West Michigan.
Marlene received her master’s degree in business administration from Cornerstone University and received her bachelor’s degree from Northwood University with a dual major in marketing and management. Marlene resides in Grand Haven, MI, and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three girls, Ellie (8), Everleigh (6), and Josie (2).
