Nick Kacher currently serves as the President of The Employers’ Association, an organization dedicated to supporting west Michigan employers with a range of HR services, guidance, and resources. The provide expertise in areas such as compliance, training, compensation, and policy updates to help members navigate complex workplace challenges. 

Prior to joining TEA, Nick served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for a global association of law firms. He oversaw membership development and growth, sales, staff management, member relations and retention, budgeting and financial oversight, event planning and execution, brand marketing, and the building of alliances and partnerships. 

Before his 16 years with the legal network, Nick practiced law as an associate with a midsize, business firm based in Detroit. He began his legal career as an attorney for the State Court of Appeals. 

Nick graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in English and Education. He then obtained his law degree from Loyola University Chicago’s School of Law where he was a pro bono award recipient. 

Nick and his wife have two teenage children and live in Ada, Michigan. He enjoys coaching and volunteering with his kid’s activities and stays involved around the community.
